ELLISVILLE – The Co-Lin women and men posted a pair of key SouthDivision win over Jones County Thursday night. The Co-Lin LadyWolves came back to best the No. 15th ranked Jones County LadyBobcats 77-72 and the Co-Lin men clipped Jones County 72-71.

The Lady Wolves (15-0, 5-0) are ranked No. 7 in the nation. TheLady Bobcats fell to 15-3 with the loss.

The Co-Lin men improved to 12-3 overall and 3-2 in the South.Jones County dropped to 12-6.

Co-Lin 77, Jones County 72

Leading the Co-Lin women with 16 points was sophomoreforward Tiffany Dales with 16 points and three steals. DeniseCatchings collected 14 points. Netting 13 points was Christy Brown.Finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals wasVanessa Andrews.

Co-Lin 72, Jones County 71

The Co-Lin men led Jones County 38-32 at the half andhad to battle back in the second half for the win.

Sophomore guard Barry Whitley powered the Wolves with 16points, six rebounds and nine assists. Quentin Christian scored 15points, collected eight rebounds and blocked two shots. BrandonDickerson picked up 14 points, pulled down nine rebounds and hadthree assists. Ten points was netted by Brannon Barfield who ledoff the backboards with 10 rebounds.

Co-Lin returns home to Mullen Gymnasium Monday night tohost division rival Southwest for two games. The women begin playat 6 p.m.
