Margaret Louise Martin McEwen

Services for Margaret Louise Martin McEwen of Jackson, andformerly of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at PearlieGrove M. B. Church with burial in Garden Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at CollinsFuneral Home.

Mrs. McEwen, 85, died Feb. 25, 2001, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born on Sept. 26, 1915, to John Martin andEvelyn Harris Martin. She was a graduate of Alexander High Schooland Tougaloo College.

She was a retired teacher with Bogue Chitto Public Schools. Shewas a member of Pearlie Grove M. B. Church in Jackson.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, the Rev.Joseph McEwen; and three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors are her brother, George Martin of Brookhaven; hersisters, Dacetha Delcamp and Hazel Stewart, both of Detroit, Mich.,and Jean Wells of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
