Services for Shelton Boyd of McComb are 2 p.m., Tuesday, March27, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Calvary BaptistChurch Cemetery in Pricedale.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mr. Boyd, 90, died March 25, 2001, at Columbia Health and Rehabin Columbia. He was born in Pike County on Jan. 5, 1911, to H. N.Boyd and Ira Marbury Boyd.

He was a retired park ranger at Percy Quin State Park. He was amember of Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sons, H. Jerry Boydand Eugene “Gene” Boyd; his daughter, Mary Katherine Alexander; hisbrothers, Marvin Boyd, Richard Boyd, and Grady Boyd; and hissister, Cordie Mae Beeson.

Survivors are his wife, Waddie Fuller Boyd of McComb; his sons,John Henry Boyd of Kentucky, Billy Boyd of Bogue Chitto, and BobbyBoyd of McComb; his brothers, Alton Boyd of Jackson and CorbetteBoyd of Hattiesburg; his sister, Lillie Faye Carruth of Summit; and21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
