Services for Hilda Louise Poole Cothren of Meadville are 3 p.m.,Monday, April 2, at Meadville Baptist Church with burial in Mt.Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cothren, 83, died March 31, 2001, at Tyler Holmes Hospitalin Winona. She was born in Gloster on Sept. 10, 1917, to Will Pooleand Emily Berryhill Poole.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Meadville BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WallaceCothren; her brother, Buster Poole; and her sisters, Ruby Poole andJonnie Seales.

Survivors are her son, Paige Cothren of Houston, Miss.; herdaughter, Wanda Orr of Vaiden; her brothers, Ray Poole of Oxfordand Barney Poole of Gloster; her sister, Willodene Robertson ofCenterville; and four grandchildren and ninegreat-grandchildren.
