Services for Ludie Dixon Blanchard of Silver Creek are 10 a.m.,Tuesday, April 17, at Crooked Creek Baptist Church with burial inCliburn Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home andTuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Blanchard, 80, died April 14, 2001, at her residence. Shewas born in Lawrence County on March 13, 1921, to William JacksonDixon and Mattie Elizabeth Cliburn Dixon.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Crooked Creek BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, JohnJoseph Blanchard.

Survivors are her sons, Larry Rogers of Thibodaux, La., andBilly Rogers of Lavaca, Ark.; her daughters, Barbara Walls ofCrooked Creek and Penny Dufrene of Newhebron; her brother, LewisDixon of Hamilton; her sisters, Letha Herrington of Prentiss andNell Garrett of Petal; and 14 grandchildren and 21great-grandchildren.
