Services for Sarah Lee McDavid Ivy of Brookhaven were 2 p.m.Saturday, April 14, at Holly Springs Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ivy, 87, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at Haven HallNursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County on March 27, 1914, tothe late Allen Monroe and Julia Kling McDavid.

She was a retired registered nurse and homemaker. She was amember of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HughHoward Ivy Sr.; her brothers, Willie, Jim, Dewey Sr., Whitney,Pinkie, Ed and Martin McDavid; and her sisters, Anna Drummond andDora Wilson.

Survivors are her son, Hugh Howard “Peewee” Ivy Jr., and herdaughter, Sarah Rebekah “Becky” Ivy, both of Brookhaven.
