MCCOMB – The Brookhaven Panthers captured the Division 6-4ATennis Tournament held at Percy Quin Park recently. Brookhavencaptured first place with 8 wins. Other finishers include LawrenceCounty with 4 points, McComb with 1 point. South Pike and Terry hadno points.

The following Brookhaven players have qualified for the StateTournament to be held at the Ridgeland Tennis Center in Ridgelandon Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 1. They are Lane Lofton, boyssingles; Katie Smith, girls singles; Stuart Misner and JudsonLangston, boys doubles; Allison DeHuff and Sadie Corban, girlsdoubles and Kim McBride and Sam Sones, mixed doubles.

Brookhaven finished regular season play with a 10-2 record. Indistrict, the Panthers were 8-0 and 8-0 in the divisiontournament.
