Services for The Rev. James R. Jackson of Brookhaven are 11a.m., Tuesday, April 24, at First Church of the Nazarene withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.
The Rev. Jackson, 79, died April 22, 2001, at BeverlyHealthcare. He was born in Amite County on Oct. 24, 1921, to Joe B.Jackson and Myrtis Hollingsworth Jackson.
He was a retired pastor. He was a member of First Church of theNazarene. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two sons, threebrothers, and two sisters.
Survivors are his wife, Mary E. Jackson of Brookhaven; his sons,Bob Jackson and Andy Jackson, both of Brookhaven; his brother, JoeJackson of McComb; his sisters, Migonne Johnson of Summit, LetaKennedy of Springfield, La., and Annie Hall of Magnolia; and threegrandchildren.
