Services for Carolyn C. Neal of Monticello were 11 a.m., Monday,April 30, at New Hope Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Neal, 56, died April 28, 2001, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on Oct. 31, 1944, to Bill and Dorothy HydeCarr.

She was self-employed at Neal’s Pawn Shop. She was a member ofNew Hope Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Tommy Neal of Monticello; her sons,David Neal of Silver Creek and Brian Neal of Monticello; herbrother, Randy Carr of Monticello; and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries of Brookhaven or NewHope Baptist Church Building Fund.
