Services for Claude L. Whittington of Greenville are 2 p.m.Sunday, April 29, at Mortimer Funeral Home Chapel with burial inLakeview Memorial Gardens in Greenville.

Visitation is Sunday, April 29, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Whittingon, 89, died Friday, April 27, 2001, of heartfailure at Delta Regional Medical Center. He was born inBrookhaven.

He was a retired dairy farmer.

Survivors are his wife of 71 years, Bennie Mae Coker Whittingtonof Greenville; his sons, Willie Lester Whittington and James TravisWhittington, both of Greenville; his daughters, Lona Hankins ofMobile, Ala., and Glenda Duckworth of Greenwood; his sister, LolaBrister of Franklinton, La.; six grandchildren and 14great-grandchildren.
