Services for Linden Lee “Lin” Stephens of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Thursday, May 3, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Stephens, 72, died May 1, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Pontiac, Mich., on Feb. 23, 1929, to LeeWeber Stephens and Ramona Bell Meitz Stephens.

He was retired as a welder from Rebel Tester. He was a member ofBrookway Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers-in-law,Bill Turpin and Don Dillon; and his great-grandson, D. J.Martin.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby Stephens of Brookhaven; his sonsand daughters-in-law, Terry and Janice Stephens of Wesson and Larryand Melissa Stephens of Pearl; his daughters and sons-in-law,Ramona and Ronnie Fullen and Regina Jill Smith, all of Conroe,Texas, Karen and A. J. Guess of Bogue Chitto, and Kaylon and HughWatson of Wesson; his foster brother and his wife, Roy and FrancesWatson of Brookhaven; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Van”Jr.” Bush and Vandal Mercier of Baton Rouge; his sisters, Ardeth”Artie” Turpin and Sharon Dillon, both of Conroe, Texas; and 15grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren andnine step-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces andnephews.
