Services for M. C. Booker of Roxie are 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 19,at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Kirby with burial in ByrdCemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time at thechurch. Rollins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Booker, 61, died June 15, 2001, at Franklin County Hospital.He was born in Franklin County on Dec. 25, 1939, to Dave Booker andCarrie Fleming Booker.

He was retired from J. P. Plating Manufacturing Plant inChicago.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, NolanBooker; and his sister, Beatrice Keys.

Survivors are his son, Billy Nelson of Roxie; his sisters,Ruthie Muhammad and Lida Booker, both of Roxie; and onegrandson.
