Services for Alma Roberts of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. Wednesday,June 27, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MoaksCreek Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 26, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Roberts, 90, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was born in Northfield on July 7,1910, to the late John Acy and Martha McGallion Reeves.
She was a retired inspector for Kellwood Manufacturing of McCombfor 25 years. She was a member of Moaks Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, JuliusRoberts; six brothers, Emmitt, John Henry, Farrel, Jewel, Curits”Bill” and Paul Reeves; and two sisters, Dovie Stubbs and HelenLambright.
Survivors are her son, Charles E. Roberts Sr. of Brookhaven;former daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Sandifer; sister, Virgie Seamanof Jennings, La.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; fourgreat-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
