Services for Victoria Denise Stapleton of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.Tuesday, July 3, at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church in Union Church withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, July 2, from noon to 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Miss Stapleton, 16, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, in LincolnCounty. She was born in Jefferson County on Oct. 8, 1984, toCharles Washington of Union Church and Flora Stapleton Hunt ofFranklin County.

She was a junior at Wesson Attendance Center. She was a memberof Mt. Moriah M.B. Church. She was an honor student and was amember of several school clubs.

Preceding her in death was her grandfather, Henry Buie.

Survivors are her parents; brother, Alexander Hunt; sisters,Margo Stapleton and Charlene Stapleton; godsister, Nicole Gatlin,all of Brookhaven; grandparents, Thelma Stapleton of Wesson,Bernice Washington of Union Church, Alfred Montgomery of Wesson andMary Buie of Brookhaven; six stepbrothers; and six stepsisters.
