Services for Earl Dermont Gill of Crowley, La., are 1 p.m.,Tuesday, July 3, at Northside Assembly of God Church with burial inIndian Bayou United Methodist Church Cemetery. Geesey-FergusonFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gill, 76, died July 1, 2001, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitalin Lafayette. He was a native of Brookhaven.

He was a retired sprinkler fitter.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lonnie and Clara MorganGill; and his wife, Ruth Pryor Gill.

Survivors are his son, Timothy Earl Gill of Crowley; his sister,Joy G. Smith of Brookhaven; his brothers, James Alton Gill ofSlaughter and Harry “Buddy” Gill of Cambellsville, Ky.; and a hostof nieces and nephews.
