Services for John Enoch Brister of Bogue Chitto are 4 p.m.,Wednesday, July 18, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Brister, 71, died July 17, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on May 21, 1930, to ClintonBrister and Susie Nordan Brister.

He was retired. He attended Wellman Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his mother; and his sisters, MaryLee Greer and Addie Lee Smith.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 49years, Marcell Murray Brister of Bogue Chitto; his daughters andsons-in-law, Jerolyn and Lennis McCullough of Brookhaven and Gwenand Rickie Tardo of Bogue Chitto; his brother, W. C. Brister ofRedwood; his sister, Emma Godard of Brookhaven; and hisgrandchildren, Jody and Mark McCullough of Brookhaven and Candiceand Devin Tardo of Bogue Chitto.
