Services for Billy Pilgrim of Roxie are 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug.1, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Pilgrim, 67, died July 30, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Philadelphia on March 23, 1934, to Jim Colden Pilgrim andElla Mae Breland Pilgrim.

He was a retired truck driver.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Pilgrim of Roxie; his sons, WesleyPilgrim of Morton and Mike Pilgrim of New Orleans; his daughter,Elizabeth Wactor of Meadville; his brother, James Earl Pilgrim ofRoxie; his sisters, Mavis Tyson and Jimmie Atkinson, both ofMorton, and Mittie Barfoot of Pearl; and seven grandchildren andsix great-grandchildren.
