Services for Gladys Louise Thompson Jordan of Brookhaven are 11a.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Mallalieu Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jordan, 77, died Aug. 7, 2001, at her residence. She wasborn in Brookhaven on Jan. 16, 1924, to Lucius Henry Thompson andLeatha P. Thames Thompson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the BrookhavenShrinettes and the Noon Lions Club. She was a member of MallalieuUnited Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CalvinHouston Jordan Sr.; and her daughter, Louise Jordan Clecker.

Survivors are her son, Calvin Houston Jordan Jr. of Brookhaven;her daughters, Virginia J. Brumfield of Brookhaven and Laura J.Barksdale of Monticello; her brother, Mike Thompson of Brookhaven;her sisters, Mae Ard of Jayess and Hautie Lambert of Vidalia, La.;and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
