Services for Maxie Blackwell Calhoun of Jayess are 11 a.m.,Friday, Aug. 10, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inDivide Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Calhoun, 90, died Aug. 7, 2001, at SMRMC. She was born inLawrence County on Sept. 26, 1910, to Mack C. and Camie ElizabethThames Blackwell.

She was a retired house keeping coordinator with the Sun-N-SandMotel in Jackson.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dan KellyCalhoun; her brother, Basal Blackwell; and her sister, FloreceBlackwell Brister.

Survivors are her daughter, Annie Laura Kendrick of Jayess; herbrother, Anslum M. Blackwell of Monticello; and her sister,Margarette Russell of Panama City, Fla.
