John Edward Sanders

Services for John Edward Sanders of Brookhaven are 6 p.m.,Sunday, Aug. 12, at Williams Mortuary Chapel. Graveside servicesand burial are 9 a.m., Monday, Aug. 13, at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from noon until 6 p.m., with family hourfrom 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Sanders, 51, died Aug. 7, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 24, 1950, to Alex Sanders Jr. andSallie Davis Sanders.

He was formerly employed by the City of Brookhaven until hisdisability retirement.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his brothers, Alex Sanders III and Harry LloydSanders, both of Brookhaven; his sisters, Bertha Mae Tanner, MaryLouise Nelson, Kathy Sanders Humphrey, Annie Sanders and Annie MaeDixon, all of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews.
