Services for Henry Osmond Swann of Mobile were 10 a.m., Monday,Aug. 20, at St. Dominic Catholic Church with graveside services at2 p.m. at the Catholic Cemetery in Meridian.

Mr. Swann, 94, died Aug. 18, 2001, in Mobile. He was born inGulfport on Aug. 6, 1907. He had lived in Atlanta and in Jacksonprior to moving to Mobile in 1977.

He was retired from the Federal Housing Authority andMississippi State Tax Commission. He was an artist and exhibited inmany juried and non-juried shows. He was a past member of EasternShore Art Association and Mobile Art Association. He was a memberof St. Dominic Catholic Church and a past member of St. IgnatiusCatholic Church.

Survivors are his children, Barbara Price of Mobile, Henry SwannJr. of Brookhaven, Dr. Dorothy Branch of Ft. Worth, Texas,Elizabeth Schmidt of Dallas, Texas, and John F. Schmidt III ofClarksdale; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
