Services for Homer L. Purvis of Polkville were Wednesday, Aug.15, at Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in PolkvilleCemetery.

Mr. Purvis, 86, died Aug. 12, 2001, at Scott Regional Hospital.He was a native of Smith County.

He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was a memberof Polkville First Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Christeen Purvis of Polkville; hisdaughter, Alice Huff of Polkville; his son, Tommy Purvis of Wesson;and three grandchildren.
