Services for Charles Earl McClelland of Bogue Chitto are 3:30p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inJohnson Family Cemetery in Crystal Springs.

Visitation is today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McClelland, 54, died Aug. 30, 2001, at St. Dominic’sHospital in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on July 15,1947, to Ira McClelland and Julie Womack McClelland.

He was a painter and sheetrock finisher.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, JoshuaMcClelland; his brothers, R. M., Johnnie, and George McClelland;and his sister, Myrtle Mae Rushing.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Dungan McClelland ofBogue Chitto; his son, Charles Jason McClelland of Bogue Chitto;his brothers, J. D. McClelland of Purvis, Thomas McClelland ofSummit, and Wayne McClelland of Wesson; his sisters, EuniceMelancon of Perryville, La., Chris Gebhart of Baton Rouge, AdaMcCullough of Ruth, and Ann Johnson of Smithdale; his grandchild,Charles Nicholas McClelland; and his stepgrandchild, Joshua WayneMcNaughton.
