Services for Henry Coleman Jr. of Wesson are 3 p.m., Sunday,Sept. 9, at New Hope United Methodist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, Sept. 8, at Century Funeral Home.

Mr. Coleman, 81, died Sept. 4, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Caseyville on Sept. 20, 1920, to HenryColeman Sr. and Ola Smith Coleman Marshall.

He was a farmer. He was a Mason. He was a member of New HopeUnited Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Rosetta HicksColeman; his brothers, Otis Coleman, Evans Marshall, and Joe LewisMarshall; and his sisters, Betty Coleman, Malva Sinclair, andSelena Shannon.

Survivors are his sons, Author Lee Coleman and Michael Coleman;his daughters, Essie Lee Coleman, Hazel Martin, Henrine Coleman,Shelia Thomas, Ruby Nell Coleman, Joann Catchings, Louella Sanders,Cassandra Coleman, Norma Daniels and Brenda Bailey; and 33grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
