Services for Eva Pearl Townsend of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Townsend, 73, died Sept. 9, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Mississippi on March 29, 1928, toTheodore Ernest Mixon and Sarah Eva Herrington Mixon.

She was a beautician. She was a member of Central BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, RonnieS. Townsend.

Survivors are her son, Ronnie S. Townsend of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Nona Trout of Meadville and Shelia Adams of Lafayette,La.; her brother, Lloyd E. Mixon of McComb; her sisters, LessieWeir of Ruth, Lois Durio of Lafayette, La., Eula Bea Williamson ofBrookhaven, and Nell Martin of Fernwood; and seven grandchildrenand six great-grandchildren.
