Services for John L. Knight of Washington Parish, La., are 11a.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Nobles Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mr. Knight, 77, died Sept. 11, 2001, at St. TammanyHospital.

He was retired from Crown-Zellerbach. He was a member of Love M.B. Church of Bogalusa.

Preceding him in death were his parents, W. B. Knight and EllenHunt Knight; his daughter, Jerri Louise Cuti; his brothers, Dewey,Doyle and Royce Knight; and his sister, Vergie Nell Mailos.

Survivors are his wife, Bessie Stokes Knight of Pine; hisdaughters, Bessie Sue West of Brookhaven and Barbara Gerald ofPine; his sisters, Mary Lee Ingram of Franklinton and Ruth Harrisof Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren.
