Services for Charles E. “Snooks” Britt of Magee were Tuesday,Sept. 18, at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MageeCity Cemetery.

Mr. Britt, 75, died Sept. 14, 2001, at Magee General Hospital.He was born in Lincoln County on June 27, 1926, to Louis Britt andAmanda Case Britt.

He was retired. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church inLincoln County. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a Mason.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, JamesBennon Britt.

Survivors are his wife, Earline Britt; his son, Charles RonaldBritt of Magee; his daughter, Shelia Britt Horahan of Jacobstown,N.J.; his sister, Jo Ann Hallmark of Great Falls, Mont.; and fivegrandchildren.
