Services for Kathryn Lee “Kitty” Martin Bowman of Brookhavenwere 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Churchwith burial in the church cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bowman, 92, died Sept. 16, 2001, at Beverly Health Care.She was born in Bogue Chitto on Sept. 9, 1909, to Iva Lee Martinand Hattie Coker Martin.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Hill BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, LeeRoy Bowman.

Survivors are her nieces, Nancy Bullock of Jackson, DebbieMcIlwain of Smyrna, Tenn., Elaine Boyd of Prairieville, La., andRebecca Brown of Bogue Chitto; her nephew, Gordon Tynes of BogueChitto; her great-nieces, Jennifer Stewart of Water Valley, JanetBullock of Jackson, and Jillian Bullock of Bogue Chitto; and hergreat-nephews, Brad McIlwain of Smyrna, Tenn., John Bullock ofDallas, Texas, Jason Bullock of Clinton, and Ben McIlwain ofMurfreesboro, Tenn.
