Services for Frances Cotton Earl of Detroit, and formerly ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, at True ChurchMinistries with burial in Gethseyme Cemetery in Detroit.
Visitation is Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Barksdale Funeral Home inDetroit.
Mrs. Earl, 60, died Sept. 20, 2001, at St. John Hospital inDetroit. She was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 30, 1941, to CurtisCotton III and Pearl Cooper.
She was retired.
Preceding her in death were her sister, Pecola Robinson; and herbrother, Jerry Stevenson Robinson.
Survivors are her father, Curtis Cotton III of Joliet, Ill.; hermother, Pearl Lee Cooper of Montgomery, Ala.; her sons, CharlesEarl and David Earl, both of Las Vegas, Nev., Dexter Earl ofMuskegon, Mich., Johnnie Earl of Detroit, and Brian Carreker ofAtlanta; her daughters, Barbara Taylor of Detroit and DeniseJointer of Brookhaven; her sister, Carrie Lee Taylor of Montgomery;and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
