Services for Mrs. I. V. Spears of Bogue Chitto are 3:30 p.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inTerry Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 3 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Spears, 85, died Oct. 1, 2001, in Brookhaven. She was bornin Jasper, Ala., on Dec. 24, 1915, to John Wilson and EthelGilliand Wilson.

She was a music store manager. She was a member of Terry BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl M.Spears; several sisters and brothers; and one grandson.

Survivors are her son, Jim Miller of Bogue Chitto; herdaughters, Betty Ruth Davis of Scooba and Sandra Lindsay ofWichita, Kan.; her brothers, Charles Wilson and Lecil Wilson, bothof Fort Worth, Texas; her sisters, Polly Buford of Greenville andRuby Ambrosia of Fort Worth, Texas; and five grandchildren andthree great-grandchildren.
