Services for Kate Reeves of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Monday, Oct.8, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Topisaw BaptistChurch Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 7, from 5-10 p.m. and Monday from 8a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reeves, 74, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at UniversityMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan.28, 1927, to the late James Hubert and Bessie Maybell AdamsWaldrop.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Nola BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Zeb W. “Dub”Reeves; daughter, Judith K. Lambert; brothers, Charles R., JamesA., Jessie and Edward Waldrop; and sister, Jean Waldrop Upton.

Survivors are her sons, Jerald Lambert of Nola and MichaelReeves of Topisaw; daughter, Jo Ann Lewis of Nola; brother, ThomasOneal Waldrop of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sister, Peggy Ellzey ofBrookhaven; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
