Services for Nolan Dee Burris of Meridian are 10 a.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Burris, 57, died Oct. 8, 2001, at Rush Memorial Hospital inMeridian. He was born in Lincoln County on May 10, 1944, to NolanBurris and Delores Peavy Burris.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Church of the Way. Hewas a Mason. He had served in the Coast Guard.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his brother, BruceBurris.

Survivors are his wife, Susan Jarmin Burris of Meridian; hismother, Delores Peavy Burris of Brookhaven; his stepson, SteveMoody of Meridian; his stepdaughter, Melissa Moody of Meridian; hisbrother, Kenney Burris of St. Francisville, La.; and his nephews,Darryl Burris and wife April of Brookhaven and Jesse Burris of St.Francisville.
