Services for Willie D. Hooks of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Oct. 13, at New Hope M. B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Hooks, 52, died Oct. 6, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 7, 1949, to JamesHooks Sr. and Minnie Bell Johnson Hooks.

He was disabled. He was a member of New Hope M. B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Audrey AdamsHooks; and other siblings.

Survivors are his daughters, Pascha Hooks and Lavasia Hooks,both of Brookhaven; his stepdaughter, Aslayan Adams of Brookhaven;his sister, Lillie Mae Curtis of Springfield, Mass.; his brothers,James Hooks Jr. of Springfield, Mass., and Benjamin Hooks ofBrookhaven; and four grandchildren.
