Services for Terrel Julius “T.J.” Rance of Jackson wereSaturday, Nov. 3, at Morning Star Baptist Church with burial inGarden Memorial Park.

Mr. Rance, 80, died Oct. 29, 2001. He was born in Fernwood onJuly 21, 1921 to Henry and Christine Rance.

He was retired from state employment as a Senior Health CarePlanner. He was formerly a teacher and principal at Eva Harris HighSchool.

Preceding him in death was his daughter, Veronica ReneaEllis.

Survivors are his wife, Bertha Rance; six children, MarionetteHamilton, Janet Holmes, Charles Rance, Stacey Rance Gaines, CrystalMonique McLin and La Tasha Estus; five grandchildren; a sister,Vivian Broussard of Houston, Texas; and three brothers, JohnnyRance of Yakima, Wash., Jake Rance of Portland, Ore., and WillieChester of Houston, Texas.
