Services for Clarice Rhyne Altman Gibney of Brookhaven are 11a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Gibney, 77, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Tennessee on Feb. 8, 1924, to thelate Emmitt B. and Theresa Barger Rhyne.

She did clerical work at the Veterans Administration and was ahomemaker. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husbands, EnosR. Altman and Gilbert Gibney.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, E. Ramsey and SusieAltman of Marietta, Ga., and Stephen Rhyne and Dianne Altman ofBrookhaven; sisters, Vivian Fugler of Brookhaven and Anita Carrollof Bay Minette, Ala.; and grandchildren, Susan Ashley Altman,Stephanie Alyson Altman, Jonas Kyle Altman, Stuart Kelly Altman andDaniel Kory Altman.
