Services for Charles Edward Beacham of Oakland, Calif., are 11a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at Mt. Shady Grove M. B. Church in Wessonwith burial in the church cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Mr. Beacham, 66, died Nov. 8, 2001, at Fruitvale Health CareCenter in Oakland. He was born in Wesson on Nov. 2, 1935, to JamesWesley Beacham and Nannie Beard Beacham.

He was a graduate of Parrish High School in Hazlehurst. Afterhigh school, he moved to Omaha, Neb., where he lived for a numberof years. When health failed, he moved to Berkeley, Calif. He was amember of Mt. Shady Grove M. B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, WillieLevi Beacham and Howard Beacham; and his sisters, Magnolia Cook andLoucile Muldrow.

Survivors are his brothers, James Henry Beacham and Floyd LeeBeacham, both of Sacramento, Calif., Julius Beacham of Inglewood,Calif., and Clinton Beacham of Oakland, Calif.; his sisters,Doreatha of Vallejo, Calif., and Jessie Louella Perkins of LosAngeles; and a host of nieces and nephews.
