Services for Troy Anding Douglas of Wesson are 11 a.m. Monday,Dec. 10, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 9, from 4-9 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mr. Douglas, 70, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at MississippiBaptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Sontag on Sept.11, 1931, to the late Luther Anding and Brittie JacksonDouglas.

He was a physical plant director for Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege for the past 12 years. He was a service manager for KeesMotor Company for the 28 years before that. He was a member ofClear Branch Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of theKorean War and a member of American Legion Post #0079, Veterans ofForeign Wars Post #02618 and the Wesson Lion’s Club.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, James Troy “Jack”Douglas; brothers, Marvin Douglas, the Rev. M.L. Douglas and SidneyDouglas; and sisters, Alice Smith and Grace Case.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby Howard Douglas of Wesson; sons,Greg Douglas of Wesson and Keith Douglas of Port St. Joe Beach,Fla.; daughter, Tammy Hobbs of Brookhaven; brothers, Marshall”Buddy” Douglas, Thomas “Jack” Douglas and Oscar Douglas, all ofSontag; sisters, Lillian Bardwell and Anna Crane, both ofBrookhaven; and nine grandchildren.
