Services for Mildred Marie Dunaway Holmes of McComb are 10 a.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEnon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m.until service time at Hartman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holmes, 80, died Dec. 10, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Enon on July 29, 1921, to Web Dunaway andJulia Dunaway.

She was retired from U. S. Rubber Company in Port Natchez,Texas, after 38 years as head nurse for the plant. She and herhusband moved to McComb in 1986 after their retirement. She was amember of First Baptist Church in McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, T. J.Holmes; her sister, Lucille Boyd; and her brothers, Winston,Vaught, and Mark Dunaway.

Survivors are her nieces, Doris Alford of McComb, Mearl Cothernof Brookhaven, and Sue Price of Hattiesburg; her nephews, Don Boydof Laurel, Devoy Dunaway of McComb, Douglas Dunaway of California,and Mike Dunaway and Gill Dunaway, both of Oregon; and a host ofother relatives and friends.
