Services for Bill Willard McClelland of Summit are 1 p.m.,Monday, Dec. 17, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMoak’s Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 11 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mr. McClelland, 98, died Dec. 16, 2001, at McComb Extended Care.He was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 16, 1903, to William JasperMcClelland and Nancy Drunette “Nettie” Roberts McClelland.

He was a retired farmer. He was a lifelong member of Moak’sCreek Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon for 55years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, MackMcClelland; and his sisters, Bessie Gatlin, Bertie Brown, andJessie Lee May.

Survivors are his wife, Vivian Brown McClelland of Summit; hissons, Howard McClelland of Brookhaven and Harrell McClelland ofSummit; his daughters, Drunette Erline Bowlin of McComb, LefayHolmes of Summit, Nora Margaret Anderson of Columbia, and BillieAnn Ladnier of Biloxi; and 13 grandchildren, 19great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerousnieces and nephews.
