SUMMIT – Senior forward Lacey Palomarez pumped in 24 points andthe Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets roared to a

56-36 Monday night win over the North Pike girls.

In the varsity boys game, Enterprise got 18 points from seniorforward Shermaine Vaughn in a 43-33 triumph over the Jaguars.

Enterprise hosts Wesson Friday night, starting with a juniorvarsity girls game at 5.

The Lady Jackets (6-1) were led on the backboards by Palomarezwith 11 rebounds plus 7 steals. Daisy Sanders had 6 rebounds. JoyceAllen made 8 assists and Andrea Harthorne 5.

“We played a complete game for four quarters,” said Enterprisecoach Billy Vaughn. “Our press got to North Pike in the fourthquarter.”

North Pike got 11 points from LaQuita Ard. The Lady Jaguars wereoutscored 21-5 in the final frame.

The Jackets (4-3) were led in rebounding by Vaughn with 14rebounds plus 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Kary Brown had 8rebounds and 5 assists. Chris Porter had 3 steals.

North Pike led 20-19 at halftime but the Jackets outscored thehosts 29-13 in the second half.

In the JV girls game, Jessiea Turner’s 17 points powered NorthPike to a 46-22 victory over Enterprise.
