Services for Fred A. Roberts of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,Dec. 29, at Friendship M. B. Church.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m. with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Roberts, 68, died Dec. 20, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Jesterville, Md., on Feb. 25, 1933, to FredA. Roberts and Ruth Roberts.

He was retired. He was a member of Friendship M. B. Church. Hewas an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister,Elizabeth Jones.

Survivors are his wife, Alice Craig Roberts of Brookhaven; hisstepsons, Willie B. Craig, Jessie Craig, and Calvin Craig, all ofBrookhaven, and Charles Craig of Atlanta; his stepdaughters, HazleChandlers of Los Angeles, Bobbie Porter of Brookhaven, JoannaNewton of San Diego, Calif., Bessie Craig of Joliet, Ill., SandraGoodman of Milwaukee, Wis., and Vickie Furnace of Hazlehurst; hisbrother, Rufus Roberts of Salisbury, Md.; and his sisters, MarionHardy and Nettie Horsey, both of Salisbury, Md., Janet Roberts ofBellvue, Md., Lorraine Cornish of Hebron, Md., Revender Roberts ofBerwyn Heights, Md., and Lucille Nutter of Nanticoke, Md.
