Services for Annie Bell Green of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCalvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Green, 89, died Jan 8, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 19, 1912, to ThomasE. Newby and Fannie Hall Newby.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers, Byrd,Tommy Lee, and Pat Newby.

Survivors are her sons, Ed Green of Gautier, Harold Green ofHattiesburg, Gary Green of Brookhaven, and Gordon Green of BogueChitto; her daughters, Virginia Calcote of Brookhaven, Helen WootenNunnery of Smithdale, and Frances Wilson of Lucien; and 22grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, and onegreat-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village.
