Services for Edward G. “Mr. Ed” Sullivan of Meadville were 11a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Cool Springs Methodist Church withburial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Sullivan, 81, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at FranklinMemorial Hospital. He was born in Franklin County on April 9, 1920,to the late Dewitt G. and Nettie Twiner Sullivan.

He was a wildlife biologist for the Soil Conservation Service.He was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Edith Hutchinson Sullivan of Meadville;son, Preston G. Sullivan of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter andson-in-law, Karen Sullivan and Ewan D. McGee of Burlington, Wash.;brother, Dewitt Walter Sullivan of Baton Rouge, La.; threegrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
