Services for Myrtle Virginia Carlisle of Wesson are 2 p.m.Sunday, Jan. 13, at Wesson Baptist Church with burial in WessonCity Cemetery.

Mrs. Carlisle, 88, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at herresidence. She was born in Copiah County on July 4, 1913, to thelate Ashley and Lavicy Ashley Stevens.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Rocky Hill BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Wesley B.Carlisle; and son, Billy Carlisle.

Survivors are her sons, Kenneth Carlisle and Steve Carlisle ofWesson, Jimmy Carlisle of Georgetown and Pat Carlisle of BogueChitto; daughters, Bobbie Olson of Anchorage, Alaska, Betty Boallof Wesson, Marie Cooper of Bogue Chitto, Merry Owen of Brookhavenand Jane Edwards of Barlow; 34 grandchildren; 83great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren; and onegreat-great-great-grandchild.
