Services for the Rev. Elmer L. McManus of Ellisville are 10a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mageewith burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel FuneralHome.

The Rev. McManus, 81, died Jan. 14, 2002, at South CentralHospital in Laurel. He was born in Franklin County on Sept. 10,1920, to Aaron McManus and Annie Anderson McManus.

He was a retired minister. He was a member of Magee Church ofGod of Prophecy. He served in the U. S. Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, CecilMcManus; his sons, Fred and James McManus; and his granddaughter,Sandria McManus.

Survivors are his wife, Thelma Willis McManus of Ellisville; hisson, Willis McManus of Magee; his daughters, Dorothy Mooney ofEllisville and Sinnie Harrison of Lauderdale; his brother, HowellMcManus of Natchez; his sisters, Pearlean Bradley of Florida andDoris Dunnigan of McCall Creek; and 11 grandchildren and sevengreat-grandchildren.
