Services for Revis Leroy Phillips of Wesson are 10:30 a.m.,Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inNew Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Phillips, 72, died Jan. 19, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center.He was born in Lincoln County on May 26, 1929, to Samuel H.Phillips and Maybelle Posey Phillips.

He was an oilfield worker and insurance agent. He was a memberof Gum Grove Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers,Pearlie Leon and Marvin Phillips.

Survivors are his wife, Jewell Ellzey Phillips of Wesson; hisson, Gary Bruce Phillips of Hattiesburg; his daughters, Pam Smithand husband Ron of Jackson and Dena Phillips of Brookhaven; hisbrother, Benny Phillips of East Parish, Fla.; his sisters, EulaBurt of Baton Rouge and Evelyn Brock of Pearl; and his grandchild,Christopher Smith.
