Services for Barbara Jean Moak of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Jan. 31, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with burial inCalvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. untilnoon at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Visitation continues at the churchfrom 1 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Moak, 67, died Jan. 29, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Jan. 12, 1935, to Cullen Crosby and JuliaMae Smith Crosby.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bogue Chitto BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Bennett Leggett; her brother, Donald Crosby; and her sister, OuidaStrait.

Survivors are her husband, W. R. Moak of Bogue Chitto; her sonsand daughters-in-law, Randy and Sue Leggett and Andy and AmaryllisLeggett, all of Bogue Chitto; her stepson and his wife, Rusty andMelissa Moak of Magnolia; her stepdaughters and their husbands,Janet and Will Johnson of Bogue Chitto and Kay and Chuck Evans ofMagnolia; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Garland and ShirleyCrosby and Clifton and Delores Crosby, all of Bogue Chitto; hersisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Danny Roberts of BogueChitto, Shirley and Floyd Grice of Laurel, and Charlene Crosby ofSummit; her grandchildren, Scott Leggett, Holly Welch and husbandCorey, Cory Leggett, Cody Leggett, and Jacob Leggett; herstepgrandchildren, Alicia Kimble and husband Richard, Henry Crosby,Jennifer Crosby, Stacey Evans, and Alana Moak; and numerous niecesand nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott Leggett, Cory Leggett, Cody Leggett,Jacob Leggett, Will Johnson, and Rusty Moak. The Rev. Mark Wershamand the Rev. Hal Hatten will conduct the services.
