Services for Harold W. Guice of Roxie are 2 p.m., Monday, Feb.4, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Mr. Guice, 86, died Feb. 1, 2002, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.He was born in Franklin County on April 11, 1915, to N. A. “Abb”Guice and Ethel Adams Guice.

He was a retired hardwood lumber inspector. He was a member ofOldenburg Presbyterian Church. He was a retired Army MasterSergeant and a veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Annie Z.Guice; and two brothers and one sister.

Survivors are his sons, Harold A. Guice of Charlotte, N.C., JohnGuice of Roxie, Milton Guice of Iuka, and Michael Guice ofMeadville; his brother, Tilly Guice of Greeneville, Tenn.; hissisters, Doris Harrigill Carter of Roxie and Ethel G. Dillon ofMeadville; 12 grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; and 14great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Oldenburg Presbyterian Church.
