Services for Mamie Dell Smith Case of Houston, Texas, andformerly of Mars Hill community, were Saturday, Feb. 2, at HartmanFuneral Home in McComb with burial in Mars Hill Baptist ChurchCemetery in Smithdale.

Mrs. Case, 85, died Jan. 30, 2002, at Park Manor Nursing Home.She was born in Bogue Chitto on Jan. 1, 1917, to Hiram C. Smith andBertha Mae Martin Smith.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, TildaDixon and Lucille Honea; and her son, Bobby Case.

Survivors are her husband, Bracie Case of Houston, Texas; herdaughter, Brenda Moore of Houston; her sister, Adine Smith ofHemphill, Texas; her brother, Hiram Smith Jr. of Covington, Texas;and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
