Services for Mary Alice Barnes Hudson of Wesson are beingarranged with Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Burialwill be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof local arrangements.

Mrs. Hudson, 69, died Feb. 7, 2002, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born in Simpson County on Dec. 10, 1932, to BufordBarnes and Louisa Smith Barnes.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one grandchild.

Survivors are her husband, Melvin Hudson of Wesson; herstepsons, Terry Hudson of Brookhaven and Marcell Hudson and TonyHudson, both of Wesson; her daughters, Debbie Kent of Raymond,Tammy Allen of Wesson, and Denise Knight of Mendenhall; herstepdaughter, Gail Smith of Brookhaven; her brother, Thomas Barnesof Richland; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
